We’re delighted to welcome Oli Kirkham to the VeloxServ team as a Developer.
Oli brings with him over eight years of development experience, combining strong technical skills with a practical, problem-solving mindset. He’s passionate about creating reliable, intuitive, and engaging digital experiences, and we’re excited to see the impact he’ll have as we continue to evolve the VeloxServ platform.
Oli’s journey into web development began in a uniquely hands-on way. While running a small independent record label, he taught himself how to design and build websites from scratch, driven by the need to operate without external funding. This experience laid the foundations for his pragmatic approach to development and his ability to learn quickly through real-world challenges.
Over the past three years, Oli worked at Think Insurance as a Full Stack PHP Developer, where he played a key role in developing and maintaining business-critical systems within the insurance sector. During this time, he strengthened his understanding of scalable architecture, clean and maintainable code, and modern development standards, progressing from a self-taught developer into a confident professional working on complex, high-impact projects.

Outside of his core role, Oli also has a strong background in music, having previously played instruments and supported artists with recording and releasing their music through digital media aggregators – an experience that reflects his creative side and collaborative mindset.
At VeloxServ, Oli is looking forward to helping build and evolve the VeloxServ portal, with a strong focus on improving functionality and delivering the best possible user experience for our partners.
